Last week, on October 8, the national team of Belarus played a semi-final match of the European Championship qualification playoffs, in which Mikhail Markhel's team, unfortunately, lost to Georgia with a score of 0:1. Thus, Belarus will not be able to take part in the European Championship. Ivan Bakhar came out in the starting lineup and was replaced in the 63rd minute, Uladzislau Klimovich remained on the bench.
Then the "White Wings" played an away match against Lithuania in the UEFA Nations League 2020/2021, which ended with a score of 2:2. Ivan Bakhar entered the field in the 80th minute, Uladzislau Klimovich remained in reserve.
But yesterday's match against the national team of Kazakhstan ended successfully for the Belarusian team: Belarus managed to beat their opponents with a score of 2:0 and take first place in their group. Also, this game became the debut for Uladzislau Klimovich for the national team: our midfielder entered the field in the 66th minute, the same as Ivan Bakhar.
In November, the "White Wings" will have a home match against Lithuania and an away match against Albania. Note that the winner of the group will be able to qualify for League B.
The youth team played last week against Cyprus, in which they lost 1:2. The only penalty kick earned by Uladzislau Lozhkin was scored by our midfielder Raman Davyskiba.
